I just finished reading this book.
I decided to read it ‘cause Ray Bradbuy wrote Fahrenheit 451 which is my favorite book, so I decided read something else of him. I liked it, but I didn’t loved it. It’s just a bunch of little stories of humans fleeing earth and going to mars. But they are stupid about it. Bradbury though shows humans as stupid people or at least very ignorant, and that I loved. So in the end is not a great book, but I don’t know I wouldn’t read it again. It’s like a 6.5.
The chapter “There Will Come Soft Rains” has appeared as a stand alone in several short story anthologies. I picked up the book because that chapter was so amazing…I feel like the book disappointed.
